Black, White (+ a Pop of Red)

Does anyone else’s closet look like a black and white overload? … Yeah mine, too. But, I mean, HOW can you not love wearing black & white?? (My hubs may provide me with some reasons because he LOVES when I wear color) BUT … you literally cannot go wrong with b & w. It’s so classic, chic, stylish, and classy.

If you could describe most of my wardrobe or what I would wear if I could pick only one outfit, it would most likely be something b & w … with a pop of a red lip (& a red sole if I am lucky). 😉 Black and white is ultimately my go-to.

I styled this look a little more on the professional side. You could easily wear this to the office in most work environments, and sometimes it’s fun to trade out that suit or pencil skirt for a little more edge (aka leather). Speaking of … I got these faux leather pants from Zara and have definitely gotten my money’s worth. Whether it be leather pants or leather leggings, you DESERVE to have them in your closet. They spice up any outfit with a little more edge, and they are SO comfy when you are in the mood for something comfortable but still want to look stylish. The pair I linked above are under $30, and you really can’t beat that (especially for a brand of great quality).

This outfit would also look really cute even without the vest because this tunic is a little longer and so cute by itself. Buuuut y’all know me and my layering obsession. If you wanted to go with an even more classic look, then def go without a vest (or any type of layer for that matter). Since I was feeling a little more edgy, the vest added that touch while still keeping it classy and chic.

And of course, ANY TIME I wear strictly black and white, I seem to pop some red!! I’ve talked about loving a red lip before. And well, if you know me at all, you know that I definitely love it when it is paired with an all black and/or white outfit (especially when part of that outfit includes red on the shoes 😉 ). I like to think of makeup and accessories as tying up the loose ends of my outfit. They just tie EVERYTHING together and can really take your entire look from average to extraordinary! A little life/fashion lesson: Don’t ever forget the little things (in life or in fashion) because … honestly, those are the things that usually matter the MOST.

Thanks for stopping by you guys! Are y’all as ready for the weekend as I am?! Let me know if you have any fun fall plans – Teej & I have been wanting to go have a fall-tastic day so share your ideas with me … help ya girl out 🙂
