Urban Style

Monday again already? That weekend literally flew by! Yesterday I took over The Pink Bride’s Snapchat (@pinkbrideco), Insta, Facebook & Twitter during the Chattanooga Pink Bride Wedding Show, and it was a blast! Today, my Monday looks a little different than usual, and I can’t wait to share why it looks different with y’all in a few days. Stay tuned 🙂

distressed denim (similar) | long cream tunic – old (similar HERE) | army jacket | Freebird booties – exact sold out (linked similar) (Get me any pair of Freebird boots & I’ll love you forever!!) | Fendi bag – old (similar here & here) | Two Old Hippies ball cap (Mine is available in-store but there are similar online.) | Ray Bans | similar earrings | kate spade ‘mrs’ necklace (I wear this everyday!) | purse pom (similar) | lips

I wanted to share this urban outfit with you all because it is one of easiest looks to achieve (& one of my all time favorite styles)! When I think of urban style, I think American grunge, carefree, and practical. To be honest, this is my type of style on most days, unless I am feeling super basic & then I’ll just throw on my leggings & Uggs (+ a Starbs cup in my hand). Everyone has those days, lol!

My typical #ootd when I don’t have to get dressed up to go anywhere usually consists of my favorite denim, some cute (but comfy) booties (usually one of my Freebird pairs), a long top, a lightweight cardi or jacket & a hat of some sort (duh..). This look is great for running errands around town, popping in your fave boutique, and then grocery shopping before dinner. Urban style is a great alternative for when you want to feel comfortable, but you want to look more put together than just leggings and your hubby’s t-shirt that’s ten sizes too big for you, haha – not to mention, that’s probably a little more acceptable when going out in public. 😉 (Not saying that I haven’t done that before, but I try to at least get somewhat decent most of the time before heading out of my house.)

PS – I got this ball cap at one of my favorite boutiques in Nashville the last time I was there, and wanted to tell y’all that if you have never shopped at Two Old Hippies, DEFINITELY stop by there the next time you are in Nash – literally the most amazing boutique ever. I think I could live in there and be content forever! Carrie Bradshaw said that Vogue filled her up more than food — well, Two Old Hippies would do the same for me. All of the brand’s inventory is total urban style and made of such great quality. I’ve linked the site above where you can shop some of their pieces online too!

Hope this week brings you all happiness and lots of love! Speaking of love, V-day is getting closer, and I can’t wait to share some sweet Valentine’s looks with y’all starting this week + a great gift guide for the loves in your life. Thank you so much for stopping by, pretty people!

xo, P
