Free People Lace Up Boots & Slouchy Sweater

Okay, I just HAD to share these Free People lace up boots with y’all. Actually, they are technically from the Jeffrey Campbell x Free People collection, but that’s beside the point. What really matters most is that I share with you just how amazing they are and how they should definitely be your next purchase – like no questions asked! And speaking of purchases, while you’re on the Free People vibes, you might as well go ahead and throw in this slouchy sweater too because I’ve pretty much been living in it. It’s a DREAM!

I guess you could say that I’ve always had a thing for Free People. I think it’s actually been the brand that I have had the most loyalty to for the longest period of time – like since middle school loyalty! What is that .. like 10 or 11 years now? Okay, that kinda makes me feel old, but hey at least I’m consistent with my brands I guess, lol.

Excuse the tag sticking out of my scarf, lol! I hate when they do that, don’t y’all??

Teej actually got me these lace up boots for Christmas a couple of years ago (they’re still holding up perfectly 2 years later!), and I have been so in love with them that I had to share ’em with you guys. I was really hoping that Free People was still making them, so when I was searching for them on the Internet to link for you all, I found out that not only are they still making this exact boot, but they now have the option of sooo many different colors to choose from! (eeek) I got so excited whenever I found that out … after the holidays are over, I definitely plan on buying at least one more pair in a different color. I’m thinking maybe a more neutral tone since these are bright red. I really just love them because they are such a different style than every other tall, otk boot out there right now. Plus, there are SO many different ways to wear and style them. You can tie them like I have in this post or lace them all the way up. You can even fold down the top part of the boot for more of an edgy, rugged look!

One popular question that I get about these boots: Do you have to lace / unlace them every time you take them off or put them on? Nope! (which is just incredible because, I mean, who has the time for that?) Since they have a zipper, I only have to LOOSEN (not even unlace) them about 1/4 of the way down from the top to take them off. Same with putting them back on .. just unzip, loosen 1/4 of the way down, pull the boots on and then zip, tighten, style the way you prefer! These boots are BY FAR one of my absolute favorite pairs that I own. I couldn’t recommend them enough to y’all – they are the perfect definition of versatile, beautiful, statement shoes (and they don’t totally break the bank like a lot of designer boots out there right now!).

While we’re talking Free People, I also wanted to share about my new fave sweater that I’ve literally been living in since I got it … oops! I should probably give it a rest ha! It’s just so comfy and cozy though, especially with the cold temps finally arriving. Not to mention, don’t we all love a piece to throw into our outfits that is both comfy AND stylish? This sweater is great because it gives you the slouchy, oversized look and it’s long enough that you can wear with simple leggings for running around town, or you can dress it up a little bit more for a lunch or dinner date like I have done here. I will say that I usually wear a small in most tops but I went up a size in this sweater – partly because they were out of smalls & I just really wanted it, lol & partly because I didn’t mind having an oversized sweater option to add to my wardrobe.

I hope y’all will check out these two of my fave FP pieces – I really think you guys would love them & the quality of FP lasts forever. I still have so many pieces in my closet from years and years ago!

Anyone still Christmas shopping??? I am, unfortunately. I waited a little to long to finish off our lists, but I’m close to being finished now – hallelujah! If you are still looking for a high-quality, yet reasonable gift for a gal or guy in your life, head over to my INSTA for a coupon code with one of my fave accessory brands! Also, I shared some last minute stocking stuffers yesterday on the blog if you need some inspo in that direction – hope this helps!

Thanks for reading, beauties. Love y’all!!
