Casual, (Weekend) Style

Happy (almost) weekend! (insert praise hands emojis HERE!) … To help you get ready for it, I’m sharing a cute and casual outfit that is SUPER affordable, and most likely, doable with the clothes that are already hanging in your closet.

Most of my posts on love ‘n’ labels have been dressy, business professional, dressy casual, etc. That is why today I wanted to share a look that was a little different … one that is very relatable and so easy to throw together in a matter of minutes.

This #ootd is a little lot more on the casual side, but the weekends, for me, are the days that I look forward to dressing down and rocking a cute, simple outfit with my fave tennis shoes (which will soon be replaced by my Uggs [no they’re not going out of style for this girl!]).

What I love about looks like this one is that it is so easy to take it from your Saturday morning coffee date to all of your weekend errands that must be done. And best part of all – it keeps you looking stylish & put together while also feeling comfy enough for that weekend style that we look forward to all week long.

The shirt I am wearing in this post is one that has also been worn to work & to several ‘dressy casual’ functions. However, I love that I can also dress it down like I have done here. The same goes for the BP moto leggings. (I got both of these pieces way back during the Nordstrom Anniversary #nsale.) I love pieces that I can dress up or down and carry from the weekdays into the weekend.

As y’all know, I have been linking my necklace that I wear everyday in almost all of my posts since I started my blog – my Kate Spade mrs. necklace. I think it is so feminine & chic to layer simple gold and/or silver necklaces with almost any outfit (especially when the jewels have some sort of imporance in your life). I’ve always loved this type of personal touch in other’s outfits, so when I got married, I knew that I just HAD to have a piece like this. You also may see me wearing a dainty gold ‘B’ monogram necklace or a gold circle necklace that my sister got me (Short Backstory: She surprised me with it the night before my wedding and it had the coordinates of the church where Teej and I would become husband & wife **aww**).

Now, I’ve found another everyday necklace to add to the collection. It’s one of my favorite pieces from Being Brett (how CUTE is that name?). The Kamden is such a timeless, classic piece that is easy to wear everyday & add to my layered necklace collection. It is a simple, open circle with a gorgeous chain (pics don’t do it justice!) & I’m obsessed! I also scored THIS adorable wrap choker from Being Brett. It’s totally on-trend & completes any boho look for the days when you are feeling those hipster-fashionista vibes.

I hope y’all have a great rest of the week! If you liked reading about a casual post like this, let me know in the comments below & I’ll be sure to include more like this one in the future. If there are any other posts y’all would like to see, let me know that as well. I’ve gotten tons of questions about wardrobe styling and makeup recently, so maybe I’ll head in that direction soon. 😉

Thanks for reading, beautiful!

xo,

Peyton
