Styling Chic Tees

They are quite possibly one of the easiest pieces of clothing to style and one of my favorite things to wear … I’m talking about chic, trendy tees.

It literally took me about 5 seconds to throw this look together because with a chic (& in this case, vintage) tee, you can just throw on your fave jeans & some accessories and be on your way.

I love the effortless style that a chic tee makes possible. A good part of my closet is made up of just B&W fitted & oversized graphic tees that I can dress up or down. And that’s probably my favorite part about them … the dressing them up or down part.

Take this vintage Harley shirt (it used to be my mom’s – she was going to get rid of it and I was like, uh nooo way) that I’m wearing in this post for instance. You could easily throw it on with some casual joggers and tennis shoes (loving THESEand then tie a jacket or flannel around your waist, throw on a cute beanie & you’re all set for the ‘comfy / cute’ look, which is my faaaavorite style to wear when I’m just running around town or even hanging out at the house with friends.

Or … you could dress it up a little more as I have done here in this post and wear it front-tucked into your cuffed jeans (or boyfriend jeans would be cute too) with your favorite heel (I thought the pumps added a special ‘effortless’ touch while still getting across that dressy, fashionable vibe.) & a cute belt.

TIP: To go even dressier with your tees, add a blazer or long vest & trade out the distressed denim for some darker pants

The idea of the chic tee is to get that trendy-ish feel but with an overall CLASSIC look – which I love. I added a wrap choker to my look in this post to give it a little more of an edgy, trendy vibe.

I’ve put some of my other fave graphic tees that I have had my eyes on below:

Thanks for visiting love ‘n’ labels! Stop by again tomorrow for another new post. 🙂
