Nope – not yet, anyways …
But, it’s never too early to start preparing! Swimsuit season and Spring Break will be here before we know it! I don’t know about y’all, but every year, I usually start shopping for swimsuits and resort wear around this time before all the sizes sell out of the good stuff. In the past, I’ve always headed straight to Victoria’s Secret first in my swimsuit search because their pricing was pretty affordable and I loved all of the options that they provided in the swim category. The pieces fit me well, and I felt comfortable in them! However … we all know by now that my usual game plan isn’t going to happen anymore because VS stopped carrying swimwear. Say whaaat?! Like, I’m still kind of in shock to be honest. And, I’m especially going to miss seeing the VS Angel Swim Special this year – bummer. (ps – I’m obsessed with the Angels if you don’t already know that about me lol!)
So a few days ago, one of my girlfriends, Elizabeth, sent a message in our group chat saying, “Um, so where are we supposed to find cute & at least somewhat affordable swimsuits now?” (referring to the discontinuation of swimwear at VS)
Well, it even got me thinking the same thing! Of course, in the past I have bought a few swim pieces from Shopbop or Revolve (& even Aerie, TJ Maxx & Target sometimes!), but primarily, I’ve always found my go-to pieces at Victoria’s Secret and I realized that a lot of other girls were probably in the same boat as me!
So, even though we are still in winter, it actually is the best time to start looking for your Spring Break and summer vacay pieces. You can go ahead and catch the sales left over from last summer + you will begin seeing a lot of new arrivals for spring and summer in boutiques & online. And we all know how fast the sizes go once you find your favorite swimsuit! Not to mention, what better way to stick to your New Year’s Resolution than to shop bikinis & get some major fitspiration?!

SWIM:
