It’s Wedding Wednesday pretty people! Last time I shared a post for Wedding Wednesday on photography and videography (you can read that HERE). Another important vendor to remember to book early on is the one for your music and lighting (if you have a venue that need extra lighting or uplighting to set the mood). Band or DJ? String musicians or singers? Piano or organ? There are so many options – you just have to figure out your own style and the theme of what you want your music and setting to be. And once you decide, book fast because musicians, and especially bands / DJs fill up super fast! Don’t miss out on the one that you really want for your big day!
I wanted to share this look with y’all today because there are so many of these pieces that are still in stock and many pieces of this outfit are under $100 – even these killer booties! I recently just got mine and love them, although they do run smaller than I though that they would when compared to my other Steve Madden shoes. I would recommend going up a half size in these booties.
Well, we finally got some snow here in Tennessee over the weekend – yay! It doesn’t happen that often here, so our mere 2-ish inches that we got was enough to get excited about. Did anyone else get any? I saw where some of my blogger sisters in other states got a little bit too – I think it is so pretty. A lot of people hate it, but there’s nothing I love more than curling up with my coffee beside the fireplace and watching it fall.
We had a ton of little kiddos in our neighborhood who were pumped to go sledding. As for Teej and I, we worked from home on Friday and managed to work in this quick photo shoot in the snow (like I said – it doesn’t happen often, so we had to take advantage of it!). I’d be lying if I said that I hadn’t been waiting for our first snowfall just so that I could wear this shirt, lol. Santa brought it to me for Christmas 😉 and I just couldn’t resist! It’s only $31, so if you want one, be sure to get it today before they sell out!
Happy Friday ladies!
I wanted to post an Instagram roundup of all my Insta posts ranging from October (when LNL officially launched) all the way up to December (phew, that’s a long time!). I haven’t done one yet, so this one is huuuge! But, this will give you a chance to catch up on any posts that you have missed out on. Below each Insta post, I’ve linked the blog post that corresponds to that photo. Some pictures are personal photos, so of course not all of them will have a blog post linked.
Anyways, I hope y’all enjoy! It’s always fun to take a trip down memory lane and especially when it involves going all the way back to when love ‘n’ labels first began!! We have definitely come a long way & grown so much in such a short period of time, and I couldn’t do this without your support. So, thank YOU for supporting LNL and joining me on this [stylish] journey from the beginning! We’re going places in 2017, and I can’t wait to have you along for the ride. 😉
One day away from the weekend, ladies – we can do this! 😉
I’m sure a lot of you all just got done traveling for the holidays, and maybe you’re like “Just let me stay home for .5 seconds before we start traveling!!” – buuuut I have seen a ton of people already starting their 2017 travel bucket lists! Also with Valentine’s Day on it’s way, I know there will be a lot of trips happening soon, so I wanted to share some comfy, travel style tips with you. I always use these tips when I am traveling (via plane or car), and they just help make for a more enjoyable trip, wherever your destination may be.
Happy Wednesday, beautiful ladies! We’ve (almost) made it over the hump!
I got a lot of questions from y’all a few nights ago when I was doing my live Q&A on Instagram, regarding hair and makeup, so I thought I would put together a post for you guys to shop my holy grail of beauty products – or at least my favorite ones at the moment. I have so many products in my cabinets & makeup case that it would take days to go through them all, lol! So below, I’ve linked my current go-to’s. My hair and makeup routines change every so often, so I’ll keep you guys posted on any new products that I find and think that ya just can’t live without.
If you can’t tell by this post, I’m oooobsessed with Elle Woods, aka Reese Witherspoon. Any other Legally Blonde fanatics out there? Back when I was in Nashville a few weeks ago, we had a shopping trip planned to Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s newish brand / boutique. I had never shopped there. She’s been launching new boutiques for Draper James all over .. girl is killin’ it! But of course, we wouldn’t expect anything less from our ambitious Harvard Law graduate, right? 😉
Being such a huge Legally Blonde fan (like, it’s my all-time fave movie .. well, right up there with SATC), I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to stop by Draper James while I was in town. Not to mention, I’m a sucker for beautiful walls of art, and I figured that I could also shoot some blog pics while I was there to share the experience with you all! I get asked all the time where I shop or my favorite places to shop. Well, I think I’ve definitely found one to add to my go-to list.
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
It’s that time of year again when we all sit down, reflect & brainstorm our goals for the upcoming year. There’s something so refreshing about a new year – a new ‘start’. However, I will say that I don’t think we have to have a new year before starting fresh. We can wake up any day and decide to shift our lives in a different direction or dream a new dream. That’s the beauty of God’s grace and faithfulness!
I actually think my resolutions always tend to evolve and refine themselves over the year as the days pass by – for many different reasons. But, I think one of the reasons is because I haven’t been specific enough in the past. So, this year, I really took the time to just sit and think about the year ahead and where / who I wanted to be at the end of 2017. Some talks with Jesus & a few cups of coffee later, here’s what I came up with for my goals & aspirations of this new year:
Happy New Year, gorgeous girls! I hope you all had a fun and safe NYE last night! Teej and I went to dinner with a few friends and then headed out downtown to watch the ball drop. It was rainy and cold here, so it may have been a better idea to just stay in for the night, lol. But, nonetheless, we made the best of it and had some fun! Today, we’ve just been relaxing and taking it easy. After church this morning, my mom whipped up this huge spread for brunch and it was ahhh-mazing! *Still waiting for my hereditary cooking skills to kick in.*
I usually don’t post on Sundays since I try to post M-F throughout the work week (but then again, I don’t think the blogging work week ever truly ends ha!). However, I wanted to share a few of my top sale picks from the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale that ends tomorrow. A few of my favorite, go-to pieces that I wear A LOT are on major sale right now, and I didn’t want to let the deals pass you up.
Fri-nally, it’s almost the weekend girlfriends! With only 2 days left of 2016, I wanted to reflect upon the past year and share some things with you all that you may not even know about me yet. I didn’t launch LNL until later in the year, so a lot of these events, I haven’t even gotten the chance to share with y’all yet. 2016 was a BIG year for me, and there were so many things to be thankful for.
With all that said, let’s get right to it:
