LBD Holiday Style

Is anyone else obsessed with textured tights?? I know I know, random question to start this post off, buuut I just love ’em! They add such a feminine, classy (& sassy) touch to your overall look.

One piece that you can’t go wrong styling with textured tights is the LBD – aka little black dress. I’m sure you have at least one LBD hanging in your closet (… and if ya don’t, then girlfriend go get one today! You’ll fall in love.) If you are like me, then there’s a high possibility that you may have about 10-15 LBD’s … but I mean, come on can you really have too many?! Today, I’m styling a little black dress that my mom got me for my birthday this year. This particular one is a little more on the dressy side, which makes it perfect for a Christmas event or party this holiday season.

dress (Got mine at Janice Ann’s Fashions – in Knox, local girls! Linked similar) | trench coat (dupe!) | textured tights | Vince Camuto lace-up heels (ON SALE!!) | similar clutch | necklace (Also bought at Janice Ann’s Fashions – linked a similar one.) .. price conscious dupe | earrings | hat | Tory Burch cuff | David Yurman cuff | sunglasses (similar) | lips

I love this particular LBD because it’s so easy to wear in every season. Gotta love versatile pieces!! Am I right or am I right? Pair it with THESE heels (no tights) for summer & spring, and then style it like I have in this post for the cooler months.

This time of year, I like to pop some red any chance that I get. (Y’all know I’m a huge Christmas fanatic!) With this overall look being pretty dressy, I thought it would be perfect to share as some inspiration for holiday parties and events. Classy, sophisticated style is the way to go.

Depending on your job and the company you work for, you could wear this to your company Christmas party. (i.e. If you work as a buyer or visual merchandiser of a large fashion retailer, this look would be exceptional for the party.) The dress does have a small cutout in the back, but it is very tasteful! If not a work Christmas party, then maybe you have a holiday wedding to attend – this look would be perfect for that (and these heels are actually so comfy, so you can dance the night away + they’re on sale!). Or maybe, you just need a festive #ootn for a fancy dinner or party with friends? You’ll definitely stand out with an outfit styled like this one. Plus, in my opinion, it’s always so fun to dress up for a night out with other couples or your girlfriends.

If you have a fur coat or wrap, I think it would pair so beautifully with this outfit. So that’s another option if you don’t have a trench or if you are looking for something more winter-y!

Thank you SO much for stopping by my corner of the blogging world. It means so much to me, and I hope that I have inspired you in some way when it comes to preparing for all of your Holiday 2016 events. Go HERE to see another festive look, and stayed tuned for more Christmas styles to come!
