Heck yes. It’s Friday and all I’ve gotta say is helloooo weekend! Finally, we made it.

This week’s Friday Favorites is all about my current faves in my makeup case. I have a few key products that I swear by, and I can’t wait to share them with you!

All of the products listed above are my absolute favorites in my makeup case that I just couldn’t live without, however, there are a few that I am SUPER partial to. I want to share these with you guys because ever since I came across them, I have just totally fallen in love with them. To be honest, a lot of these products that I use every day came from watching makeup tutorials, and I decided to try out some of the products from the videos. Of course, I became obsessed with a few of them so now I feel the need to definitely pass them on to y’all!

The one thing I just absolutely could not live without is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Powder Contour Kit – like for real, ask my friends. They know good and well that I live by this kit. And actually they all ask me to apply it on them as well anytime we are together. In college, my friend – Kristen – and I used to have a deal where I would do our faces while she did our eyes. She’s spectacular at applying eyeshadow & making a woman’s eyes pop, and truth be told, I think we both just really liked the way that the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit completed our face makeup – so that was my job! I got her hooked on it, and now she has a kit of her own!

Speaking of face makeup, I am IN LOVE with the Mac Studio Fix Fluid Foundation! I started using this and the Anastasia contour kit around the same time. It’s amazing how well these products compliment each other. They each give you such a smooth, matte look (which I am obsessed with). I like this foundation because it is full coverage but not cake-y. I really don’t think I will change my face makeup routine for awhile because I am so pleased with the finish that these products give me. Plus, they don’t break out my face at all! I have sensitive skin, so when I tried switching to both of these products at the same time, I was taking a big risk, but thankfully, they were great products to apply to my skin. I also had the help of Rodan + Fields face regimens which obviously helped a TON. (Side note: If y’all haven’t tried R+F yet, I highly recommend these products! OMG – life changers! I’m hooked.)

While we’re talking about foundation, I want y’all to click HERE right now and go ahead and add this makeup brush to your cart. Why? Because it is a TOTAL game changer. This is probably the most recent piece that I added to my makeup collection and I am so obsessed. I can literally apply my foundation with this brush in like .2 seconds (ok, that may be an exaggeration but you get the point!). My mom and sister just got one like this! I love its flat head because it makes the application of the makeup so smooth and easy to get an even amount everywhere on your face. Sometimes, if I am wanting an even smoother finish, I’ll take my Beauty Blender (make sure it’s damp) and I’ll dab it all over to smooth out the foundation even more. I’m obsessed with beauty blenders. I can’t even tell you how many I have already gone through! The black one in this post is fairly new, so I’m hoping it’ll last me for awhile. I’ve even applied my contour kit with the Beauty Blender before – it went really well!

So, all throughout high school and college, I was pretty hooked on the Naked 1 and 2 palettes. I haven’t ever tried the 3rd one that is more pink-y because pinks just don’t look that great on my eyes. I like to wear a smokier, or more tinted, eye shadow. I loved the first one for awhile and then when I tried Naked 2 – ahhhh! Love it. I still use it to this day! Kristen – who I was talking about earlier being an eyeshadow master – also uses this palette ALL the time. Well then just recently I came across the Anastasia Beverly Hills Mario shadows. It’s fairly new! I had been wanting to try the orange/maroon-ish colors on my eyes (I’ll admit, Kylie Jenner-inspired), and I also loved the other colors included in this palette – some greens with really pretty golds & neutrals. It is seriously perfect for fall & winter. You should try this one out if you like the Naked 1 & 2 palettes (basically, a lot of similar colors with a few subtle differences for a nice change.)

While we are on eyes, let’s talk mascara. I am an eyelash SNOB, y’all. There, I said it. I always have been and I don’t know why lol! I just really love long, pretty, feminine lashes. I’ve tried everything from expensive brands in Sephora to the cheapest at the drugstore. Over the years, I have found a bunch of mascaras that I love. However, I do switch up my mascara routine every once in awhile. I feel like, for me, my lashes get bored with the same mascara after awhile and when I switch to a different mascara that I love, then it just gives them a nice ‘breath of fresh air’. Just recently, I got lash extensions from Laura Howard (read about them in THIS POST) and I am totally obsessed. I love that I can still apply mascara to them if I want to. That being said, I don’t wear mascara every single day now, but when I do, I currently use THIS and THIS (and they are drugstore finds – hello cheap prices!). I first apply the ‘falsies’ to get that perfect volume and then I apply the ‘fibers’ to basically comb through and separate the ends of my lashes. This combo is amazing! When it’s time to switch up my mascara routine, I usually alternate between these: Mac Zoom, Maybelline Volum’ Express, L’Oreal Voluminous, L’Oreal Telescopic, L’Oreal (I only use the primer on this), also love THIS primer. (Another side note: R+F that I was talking about earlier has this new LASH BOOST & I’ve seen some great results. My mom is loving this product. It gives you longer & thicker lashes in the matter of no time!)

Of course, I’m saving my all-time fave for last! If you know me or have ever seen me out & about, then you know I wear my go-to red lips everywhere!! They are not just a ‘dressed-up’ look for me. It’s more of an everyday thing. Actually, I have them on right now as I’m typing this, lol! I have a particular color of red that I love. It’s the perfect mix between orange and red, and it’s a bright / happy color. I’ve tagged Ruby Woo from Mac in almost all of my posts. It’s very matte, but I love that because it stays on for-ev-er. It lasts well throughout the entire day for me, even after my coffee or eating lunch. For my wedding, I obviously had to wear my signature color, but I wanted to find something even more matte, if I could, so that I wouldn’t totally get it all over TJ when we kissed. Plus, fun fact, TJ hates getting my lipstick on him when we kiss. Like if it were up to him, I would never wear lips – not even nude or gloss! Sorry babe. 😉 Anyways, I went on a search for the same color of red at Mac in their newer collection of liquid matte lipsticks and found THIS ONE that is basically the exact color of Ruby Woo – BOOM! I loved it because it stayed on SO well. It did still get on TJ a little bit during our Big Day, but it wiped off easily. I still switch in and out between the two lipsticks, depending what I am feeling that day. I also wear THIS LINER with both of these just to make a smooth line of my lips.

Some of these products have really stood the test of time with me! I hope you’ll try some of them and love them as much as I do. If you have some favorite glam pieces that you are in love with, let me know so I can try those out too! Comment below on this post or on my Insta / FB / Twitter to let me know. I’ve been thinking about doing a hair or makeup tutorial, so also let me know if that is something that y’all would like to see!

Have a fab FriYAY & a great weekend, beautiful!!
