Bohemian Chic

The weather here in Knoxville lately has had me smiling from ear to ear, y’all. It kinda feels like fall, but the sun just continues to pop out every day against the clearest blue skies, and that makes my heart so happy … so with that said, I decided to go frolick in a field of weeds.

Okay, I’m kidding. I totally planned it because I thought this background would look pretty cool with this boho chic outfit ha! But in all seriousness, I have found an amazing new brand (for a variety of ages – woot woot!) that is exclusive only to Dillard’s & I couldn’t wait to share it with y’all! 🙂

So, truth be told, my mom & grandmother (who loves the same styles I do .. for real. Her fave brand is Free People.) came across this new brand not too long ago that is exclusive to Dillard’s called John Mark & insisted that I check it out.

Instantly, I fell in love with so many things about this brand. I love this designer’s style because the pieces are similar to other brands that I love, but with a more chic look. What also makes it so great is that I could literally picture myself, my girlfriends, sister, mom & grandmother ALL wearing this brand. I love a brand that targets a large range of ages.

I’ve loved the bohemian style in clothing ever since high school when it started getting ‘big’ because I have always had that care-free (while, still fashionable) type of personality. As I have gotten older, I still love to strut around in those same styles; however, I now enjoy amping the look up a little to show off a more boho chic / boho glam side. I like to think that this is the more ‘professional’ or ‘grown up’ version of this particular fashion.

This new John Mark brand is just that – a more sophisticated version of that bohemian style that we all love.

I hope that you will now know to keep an eye out for this brand at Dillard’s going forward (& any fun, new brands coming up) because you can find some really great, QUALITY pieces that have that same local boutique feel with a little more grandeur. Don’t get me wrong – y’all know I love me some local boutiques – but it is definitely good to keep a mix of brands and styles in your wardrobe.

Unfortunately, this particular tunic that I’m wearing in this post is now sold out online, but there are some other cute ones to choose from! (I’ve attached a few of my fave pieces from John Mark’s current collection HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, & HERE!)

Hope y’all enjoyed learning about this fairly new brand – tag me on insta or tweet me about any of the John Mark pieces (or any new brand) y’all find & LOVE (because, let’s be real … sharing good style finds with each other ends up with me adding them straight into my cart.) 😉

Have a fab night, beautiful!

xo,

Peyton
