We had such a great getaway to the beach last week with our family! We stayed in the North Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina, and the weather was perfect every day except for one. (I was actually thankful for the day that it rained because I got a little too much sun the day before!)
I actually grew up going on a beach trip every year with my family. We would go each year over the week of the 4th of July, and I have so many sweet memories from those trips. It was so nice getting to go back with the family this year and visit all of our ole stomping grounds. I hadn’t been there since 2013, and I hadn’t been on a family beach trip since before Teej and I got married. It’s just crazy how time flies! Life is short, and I want to visit as many places as possible … but there’s nothing more special than getting together with the entire fam for a relaxing vacay! I was so grateful we got to go this year!
