With Easter, wedding season, and graduations coming up, I thought that I would share with you my absolute favorite brand for these types of spring and summer events! Everyone has ‘their brand’ that they always tend to gravitate to. Forever, mine was (and still is a lot of the time) Free People. But for a few years now, I (as well as all of my best girlfriends) have fallen in love and become pretty obsessive over BCBG! The dresses at BCBG are the perfect options for any type of semi-formal to formal event – hence why I mostly stick to BCBG dresses for almost every wedding I attend, graduations, Easter (for the past couple of years now actually!), and any wedding shower or baby shower I attend. What I love so much about this brand is that they definitely stay on trend with the fashion world all while offering such classic pieces that you can wear over and over, year after year. The materials are high quality and the style of each piece is very flattering on many body types. I personally love the femininity of the BCBG brand and how comfortable each style truly is! I mean, if you are going to wear something to a wedding, you want to be comfortable enough to dance and let loose right??
My 3 best friends and I all have totally different body types, aaand they are each around 5-foot tall. Then, here I am … the 5’7″ giant haha! Anyways, my point is that we can all go into BCBG at the same time and find a dress or an outfit that works for each of us. I will say that their sizes tend to run a bit on the larger size. Like, sometimes, I even have to get an XS/S depending on the style of the dress, so you may want to size down. Now, for the tough part… So, today I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want to hear first?
I’ll assume you are voting for the bad news first. I always like to hear the bad before the good so that I can just get it out of the way and then look to the positive! Anyways, I recently found out where BCBG is beginning to close MANY of their stores… 🙁 I know, right? Sad sad sad. I wanted to cry when I found out! BUT, ready for the good news? There’s actually 2 parts of the good news, so even better! #1 – That just means there will be TONS of good pieces on major sale in many of the BCBG stores, woo! Like, the high-low dress I am wearing in this post is on sale already right now for $99 + an additional 30% off, and it was originally $268. If you are wanting to order though, I would hurry and get it fast because with that kind of price at BCBG, the sizes will be gone FAST! And for good news #2, all of the BCBG stores will not be closing! There are many that will remain open (thank goodness) at least for now. (Read more about that here).
So, with all of that said, I’ve caught you up on some of the latest fashion news and now, you can be on the lookout for some of the best sales you will ever find at BCBG. They have amazing deals from time to time. I also wore a BCBG formal dress here and it is still in stock on major sale right now! It was originally $368 and is now only $147. It would look beautiful for a black tie wedding, a gala, proms or any formal event!
